Accies game moved to a new date

Feb 9 2010

by Paul Behan, Paisley Daily Express

SAINTS’ forthcoming SPL clash with Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park on Wednesday, February 17, will be postponed.

The reason the date of the game is being changed is to enable St Mirren’s Active Nation Scottish Cup fifth round replay with Rangers at Ibrox to be played on that night.

A new date for the Hamilton game will be announced in due course. In addition, another of St Mirren’s future games is to be moved to a new date.

Gus MacPherson’s side were due to play host to Motherwell in the SPL on Saturday, March 20.

However, that game will also be rescheduled as the Buddies head to Hampden on Sunday, March 21 to contest the Co-operative Insurance League Cup Final with Rangers.

A new date for the Motherwell match is to be announced.
