Danny hails youthful Teale

Wing king Gary Teale has been praised for rolling back the years after forcing his way into the St Mirren first team.
The former Scotland star was the pick of the Saints players yesterday as he gave Kilmarnock full-back Rory McKeown a torrid time.
Teale served up a series of tempting crosses for his team-mates and can consider himself unlucky not to have pocketed a win bonus.
At the age of 34, Teale can be classed as a veteran – but Saints manager Danny Lennon reckons he’s playing like someone more than 10 years his junior.
“I don’t like to single out players too much but Gary is in terrific form right now,” said Lennon.

“He’s starting to show his full potential once again. In fact, he looks like a 21-year-old!”
The gaffer also stuck up for talented teenager John McGinn, despite giving him the hook at half-time.
Lennon said: “We have to be careful with wee John.
“He has played 10 games on the bounce now and looked a little bit jaded.
“We didn’t think he was having an off-day. He was still making a good contribution but we just felt it would be better to give him a rest.”
