MIDFIELD maestro Andy Dorman will today be rewarded for his stunning performance against Motherwell in the Co-operative Insurance Cup last month.
For the former New England Revolution ace has been named as the tournament sponsors’ Player of the Round after helping St Mirren dish out a 3-0 defeat to Motherwell in the quarter-final clash.
Dorman, 27, played a key role in the Buddies’ victory over the Steelmen at St Mirren Park.
It was his free-kick that led to the opening goal, scored by Michael Higdon.
Jack Ross made it 2-0 in the second half before Dorman’s influence was again to the fore when Motherwell skipper Stephen Craigan could only turn the midfielder’s low cross into his own net.
