A fire that destroyed 14 vehicles in a repair yard was started deliberately, police have said.
Around 20 people were evacuated from nearby homes as firefighters tackled the blaze at Ferrymill Motors in Campsie Road, Torrance, East Dunbartonshire, at around 8.20pm on Monday.
Eight buses and six caravans were destroyed and propane cylinders stored in the yard exploded because of the heat. But no-one was hurt in the blaze which took 30 firefighters to bring it under control.
Detective Inspector Sharon MacGregor, from Strathclyde Police, said: "We are in the process of viewing CCTV images which we hope will provide further details to assist our investigation.
"Thankfully no-one was injured but it's imperative we trace whoever is responsible for setting this fire."
