Flock of sheep stolen from farm

09:25, Jan 31 2013

A flock of 35 sheep, worth over £4,000, has been stolen from a farm in Scotland.

They were taken from a field at Kelloside Farm in Kirkconnel, Dumfries and Galloway, some time between December 25 and January 14.

Police are investigating the incident, which they described as 'sheep rustling'.

A Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary spokesman said all the sheep in the flock have a blue marking on their coat.

Officers are appealing for anyone with any information on the theft to contact them.
