The route of the 2014 Commonwealth Games baton relay is being unveiled on Commonwealth Day.
There are less than 500 days to go before Glasgow hosts the international sporting event and October 9 will see the ceremonial launch of the Games baton from Buckingham Palace.
The Queen will place a message to athletes inside before it sets off on a journey across the Commonwealth countries.
The first stop is Delhi, host of the 2010 Games, with the remainder of the route set to be revealed in Glasgow.
Games organisers released the details on Commonwealth Day, the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations of which 71 countries and territories are a member.
The Queen's Baton Relay will finish on its arrival at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games on July 23 next year.
The final relay runner traditionally hands the baton back to the Queen or her representative at the Games and the message is read aloud.
Glasgow 2014 chairman Lord Smith of Kelvin said: "It is fitting that we have chosen Commonwealth Day to announce the international route of the Queen's Baton Relay as it is such a well-loved tradition of the Games."
Michael Cavanagh, chairman of Commonwealth Games Scotland, said: "For many athletes the arrival of the Queen's Baton Relay in their country will be a real highlight, enabling the public and supporters to share and be part of the Games experience before the Games come to Glasgow in 2014."
