Gate prices confirmed for Aberdeen clash

Feb 6 2013

by Paul Behan, Paisley Daily Express

St Mirren fans will be able to pay at the gate for this Saturday’s SPL game with Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

Admission will cost £23 for adults, £17 for full-time students and those who are over 60 or aged between 13 and 17 and £9 for children aged 12 and under.

Supporters with disabilities are asked to call the Aberdeen ticket office on 01224 631903 to book their places for the game.

St Mirren’s last trip to the Granite City was back in October, when they knocked the Dons out of the Scottish Communities League Cup.

The game ended 2-2 after extra-time but Saints won 4-2 in the penalty shootout, thanks to some heroics in goal by Craig Samson.

However, it is Aberdeen who hold the upper hand in SPL matches between the two teams this season.

The Buddies managed to hold Craig Brown’s men to a 0-0 draw at Pittodrie in September but slumped to a 4-1 defeat in Paisley in November.

Aberdeen currently occupy sixth place in the SPL table and are four points ahead of St Mirren. However, the Paisley men have a game in hand and a win on Saturday would be a boost to their ambitions of a top six finish.
