St Mirren wing king Gary Teale is at the centre of an injury scare.
The former Wigan and Derby County midfield ace was forced to pull out of Saturday’s squad.
Teale, 34, was badly missed at the weekend as his side saw their four-game unbeaten run end.
Buddies boss Danny Lennon said: “We left the decision as late as possible with Gary and we actually thought he might make it.
“He trained with us on Friday but his injury went into a spasm.
“That was a blow and it showed just how much we missed him.”
Lennon will analyse the key things that went wrong for his side at the weekend when the players return to training today.
He said: “It’s very uncharacteristic when you get a group of players and all 11 of them have an off-day at the same time.
“We’ll have a chat on Monday and see if there’s anything we missed, or anything we overdid and we’ll put Saturday down as a bad day at the office.”
