Extra train carriages are being provided for rugby fans travelling to the capital to watch Scotland take on Ireland this weekend.
ScotRail said it will supply an additional 222 carriages to services on Sunday to help those travelling to and from Murrayfield for the RBS 6 Nations clash, which kicks off at 2pm.
The train operator will put on 87 extra carriages from Aberdeen, Bathgate, Dalmuir, Dundee, Glasgow, Glenrothes, Helensburgh and Perth, and a further 135 carriages afterwards - a 65% increase in capacity.
There will also be an additional 50 members of staff on the ground, with queuing systems in place at Glasgow Queen Street before the game and at Edinburgh`s Haymarket station afterwards.
ScotRail said the extra carriages meant more seats were being provided than ever before for a 6 Nations game but advised that services will still be busy - particularly if most spectators head for Haymarket immediately after the final whistle.
It asked fans to consider postponing their journeys home, with post-match entertainment available at the stadium.
A spokeswoman said: "We are pleased to be able to run more extra seats than ever before for a 6 Nations game, while also meeting demand in other areas of the rail network.
"Fans can play their part by buying tickets in advance and, if they are able to travel home an hour or so later, they will have more chance of getting a seat too."
ScotRail also highlighted that Network Rail engineering works are taking place on Sunday.
Customers travelling to Edinburgh from Stirling or Dunblane will travel by bus to Falkirk Grahamston to connect with train services. Customers from Perth can choose whether to catch trains via Fife or use the bus connection service.
