“We took 9,600 fans to the League Cup Final against Rangers in 2010 and now we hope to sell out our allocation for this year’s game.
“We also feel that the ticket prices are very sensible.
“We want to encourage as many families as we can to come along and the prices of £10 for children and £20 for adults are decent for a national cup final.
“St Mirren is a family club and this is going to be a real ‘family final.’
“Hopefully, the whole of Renfrewshire will get behind the team as we strive to win the League Cup for the first time.”
Saints supporters will be allocated sections P and Q in the lower tier of the BT South Stand, as well as sections A1 to B8 in the West Stand, for the big game, which takes place at Hampden at 3pm on Sunday, March 17.
It will be the Buddies’ second League Cup Final appearance in three years, having lost against nine-man Rangers in heartbreaking fashion in 2010.
Details of ticket sales for the showdown with Hearts will be released in the near future.
And Saints manager Danny Lennon is confident the club’s supporters will get behind the team in large numbers.
He said: “With their support, we’re hoping the wonderful journey we’re on can lead to silverware.”
