Buddies boss Danny Lennon insists he’s in no rush to find out who St Mirren’s opponents will be in the Scottish Communities League Cup semi-finals.
Lennon’s men booked their place in the last four by defeatingAberdeen in a penalty shoot-out at Pittodrie on Tuesday night.
But the Saints management team, players and fans must wait until a week today before the draw for the semis takes place in Edinburgh.
Lennon said: “The most important thing is that we’re in the hat for the last four.
“We’ve done our bit and we can now put all thoughts of the cup on the back burner for the time being.

“In saying that, there will no doubt be a buzz about the place when the draw is being made in Edinburgh next week.”
During his time in Paisley, Lennon had managed to reach the quarter-finals in cup competitions three times without progressing beyond that stage.
Now that hurdle has been overcome – but he has no plans to rest on his laurels.
Lennon said: “Our League Cup campaign is still very much alive and kicking and we will see exactly how far we can take it.”
The semi-final matches are scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 26, and Sunday, January 27.
